Job description

Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.

Our Design and Construction team delivers complex, high-impact projects that support our most critical business needs. We work across teams and partners to turn ideas into built environments, and strong information management is at the core of how we succeed. If you enjoy bringing order, clarity, and consistency to fast paced projects, you’ll thrive here!

The Document Control Lead plays a key role in how project information flows from design through construction. This role sets the standard for document control practices, partners closely with internal teams and external collaborators, and ensures teams always have the right information at the right time. It’s a highly visible role with real influence on project quality, compliance, and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and govern document control standards, workflows, and guidelines across projects

  • Lead oversight of document management systems including Autodesk Forma (fka ACC), Procore, and SharePoint

  • Ensure accurate distribution, version control, audit trails, and archival of project documentation

  • Serve as the partner for document control issues and cross‑company coordination

  • Train and support project teams while driving continuous improvement and automation

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in document control for construction, engineering, or capital projects

  • Advanced experience with document management platforms such as ACC, Procore, or SharePoint

  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and document lifecycles

  • Demonstrated ability to lead processes independently and collaborate across teams

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading or overseeing a document control function or team

  • Familiarity with BIM workflows and integration with document control systems

  • Experience supporting large, multi-phase, or critical construction programs

  • Knowledge of ISO standards or formal quality management systems

  • Strong training, mentoring, and partner communication skills
