Job description

Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Specialist to support our Production, Quality Management, and Sales teams. This role plays a key part in driving Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) initiatives across departments, helping to streamline operations, reduce costs, minimize risk, and improve overall business performance.

This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a leading manufacturing company in Beaverton. For over 40 years, this company offers custom machining and services to its customers. They are looking for individuals who want to support and grow their careers.

What you'll do: Implement CPI initiatives, track KPIs, improve workflows, support inspections/data reporting, and assist with safety and compliance efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain document control systems
  • Lead or support final inspections, including data collection and reporting
  • Communicate improvement outcomes across teams
  • Develop and deliver training on continuous improvement methods
  • Track production metrics and collaborate with Sales and Production teams

Operations Specialist Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years recent Quality Assurance experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Proven success in process improvement and change management
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and lead initiatives
  • Must be a US Person as defined by ITAR
