JOB Posting

JOB TITLE:Maintenance Supervisor

DEPARTMENT:Maintenance

REPORTS TO:General Manager

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for carrying out maintenance operations for the marina. The Maintenance Supervisor’s primary responsibility is the quality of the marina facilities. This person has a solid understanding of maintenance allowing for the smooth operation of a marina property and is able to supervise a group of Maintenance Associates to carry out daily duties. The Maintenance Supervisor projects a professional company image through all types of interaction and is able to seamlessly and efficiently operate in a fast-paced environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide the highest level of customer and guest services
  • Complete routine facilities inspections, identifying areas for resolution
  • Routinely operate motor and water vehicles as well as other various mechanized equipment
  • Monitor maintenance budget and expenses
  • Assist in the management of relationships with contractors and service providers

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Lead or other supervisory role
  • Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
  • Must have highly effective communication and time management skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds
  • Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency
  • Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
  • Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.
