We are looking for a Loan Processor or Loan Servicing Specialist who will facilitate the loan application process from submission to closing. We're an established and stable company with a great opportunity to gain experience in a high-volume and fast-paced environment. This Loan Servicing Specialist or Loan Processor will verify financial documentation (income, assets, credit), ensure compliance with regulations, and assemble completed files for approval.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Document Verification: Gather and review applicant information, including income, assets, and credit reports to verify accuracy and completeness.
- Loan File Preparation: Assemble and submit detailed loan files to underwriters for approval.
- Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between borrowers, loan officers, and third parties (appraisers, title companies).
- Compliance: Maintain in-depth understanding of lending regulations and company guidelines.
- File Management: Track loan status, update systems, and resolve any outstanding issues (conditions) to ensure timely closing.
Order Third-Party Reports: Order appraisals, flood certifications, and title reports.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of loan experience required
- Degree in Business or related field
- Bilingual Mandarin or Cantonese preferred
- Strong attention to detail and able to meet deadlines
