Marketing Specialist
HDR Remodeling is an award-winning Design-Build firm celebrating 37 years of satisfied residential clients in the East Bay Area. HDR Remodeling is looking for a Marketing Specialist to oversee and execute strategic marketing initiatives. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role for someone who knows how to translate amazing design-build projects into engaging content. You play a key role in a variety of responsibilities, including award submissions, social media management, coordinating photoshoots, and creating client materials. This is a unique opportunity to own creative marketing execution while supporting the lead intake and client onboarding process that drives business growth. The role blends strategic brand initiatives with operational coordination in a high-end residential remodeling firm. This is a full-time position working at our Emeryville office (onsite role).
What You'll Do (responsibilities include but not limited to):
Marketing & Brand Execution
- Execute marketing campaigns, including postcards, billboards, sponsorships, and special initiatives.
- Coordinate and prepare award submissions (e.g., ROTY/NARI), including content organization and presentation materials.
- Coordinate photoshoots and capture behind-the-scenes (BTS) content at job sites.
- Create and support social media content (Instagram posts, reels) and assist with website/blog updates.
- Design and produce digital and print marketing materials aligned with brand standards.
- Source and manage marketing vendors (custom gifts, packaging, branded materials).
- Organize and maintain marketing assets for internal use.
Client Experience Support
- Support lead intake and scheduling.
- Set up and maintain accurate client profiles in Buildertrend (CRM).
- Coordinate client onboarding materials (welcome gifts, cards, branded items).
- Ensure client-facing marketing touchpoints reflect a polished and consistent brand experience.
- Maintain reception laptop and digital marketing displays to ensure client-facing materials are current and aligned with brand standards.
Administrative Coordination
- Monitor company email inboxes and answer the department phone for incoming leads and inquiries.
- Forward emails and inquiries to the appropriate departments on time.
- Create and maintain accurate client profiles in Buildertrend (CRM).
- Ensure proper documentation and follow-through on client intake processes.
- Support sales reporting by updating and maintaining monthly reports.
- Track key marketing and lead metrics to support leadership visibility and decision-making.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in marketing coordination or brand support.
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Canva.
- Familiarity with marketing software such as ClickUp, Later Analytics (or similar software).
- Familiarity with social media content creation and short-form video.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and document production skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for design and branding.
- Detailed-oriented with an ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with marketing, business development, or sales strategies is a plus.
- CRM experience (Buildertrend preferred).
