Membership Coordinator

Outdoor Prolink is seeking a new teammate for our Boulder office Membership team! We're looking for someone that enjoys the outdoors, loves talking to people and is looking for a stable position at a fast-growing company. Outdoor Prolink is a members-only pro deal site for professionals working in the outdoor industry; we need you to help us continue to grow our 275k+ roster of outdoor, hunting and fishing professionals in the US and Canada.

About This Position:

• Boulder, CO - Hybrid Remote (1+ day/week in office)
• Full-time - Salary starting at $45,000 per year
• Reports to Membership Manager

Responsibilities:

As Membership Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing new member applications and re-verifying existing members against our membership qualification criteria
• Provide support to pros during the membership application and renewal process using ZenDesk
• Research and target new prospects using a variety of sales tools
• Obtain key information from targeted prospects to meet the qualified lead criteria
• Track prospects and enter data accurately and consistently into our CRM software
• Support the rest of the Membership and Marketing team as necessary to grow our membership base
• Understanding and researching the North American outdoor employment market
• Attending outdoor industry events and trade shows
• Comfortable using a range of software tools to do your job (Excel, CRMs, ZenDesk and more)
• Using data to make informed decisions

The Ideal Candidate:

We think a great fit for the Membership Coordinator includes most or all of the following skills and experience:

• Must have strong organizational skills and be self-motivated
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to take responsibility for work, and work diligently with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast paced, sometimes stressful environment
• Competency with modern business software applications (Excel, CRM, Zendesk, SendGrid, Power BI)
• Enjoys talking to people
• Is ready to learn and experiment with new ideas
• Exercises diplomacy in the face of adversity
• Works independently to solve problems
• Organizes tasks and workload efficiently
• Ability to work in the Boulder office a minimum of one day per week (sometimes two, as needed during training/onboarding and/or at request of supervisor)
• Bonus points: A background working in the outdoors or in the outdoor industry
