Job Description:

Job Title: Full Stack Python FastAPI Developer

Duration: 9 Months Contract Role

Location: Denver, CO, Addison, TX, Charlotte, NC or Chicago, IL. This specific role is required to be fulfilled onsite 5 days a week

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to story refinement and requirements definition

• Perform spikes or proof-of-concept work to mitigate risk or implement new ideas

• Develop code solutions and unit tests to deliver stories according to acceptance criteria and compliance requirements

• Utilize multiple architectural components across data, application, and business layers to design and develop client requirements

• Assist the team in resolving technical complexities related to story implementation

• Design, develop, and modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while maintaining architectural integrity

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites including integration, regression, and performance tests

Mandatory Skills:

• Experience designing, developing, and deploying high-volume, multi-tier, distributed transactional applications

• Deep knowledge of Python FastAPI framework or similar technology

• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL databases

• Deep understanding of Git version control

• Strong understanding of unit testing frameworks

• Experience working in an Agile development environment with solid knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

• Experience with data access technologies and design patterns

• Strong relational database experience, including SQL, data modeling, SQL objects, query optimization, and join conditions

• Experience with component-based web application frameworks

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID design principles

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desired Skills:

• Experience designing and implementing event-based integration services using message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Kanban and Scrum

• Experience with cybersecurity-related workflows, solutions, or implementations
