CDL Driver | PRN

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting residents' independence and connection by providing reliable, safe transportation for appointments, errands, and community outings. Pay Range: $21.05-$26.15 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Schedule: As needed basis. Applications are reviewed as received and accepted until the position is filled.

Provide Safe, Reliable Transportation: Drive Frasier vehicles along scheduled routes for resident appointments, outings, and services. Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles, ensuring comfort and safety. Communicate clearly with residents about pick-up times, schedules, and changes.
Support Resident Experience & Community Life: Coordinate with Community Life to support trips, events, and special transportation needs. Provide CDL driving support for evening and weekend activities as scheduled. Serve as a calm, professional presence for residents during travel.
Maintain Safety, Readiness & Accountability: Operate vehicles safely and courteously in compliance with traffic laws and organizational standards. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Respond appropriately in emergency situations, following established procedures. Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
Contribute Beyond the Wheel: Support mailroom operations and internal deliveries. Assist with event, AV, and administrative support after training. Collaborate across departments to meet community needs. Perform other duties that support residents and operations as assigned.
What You Know and Have Experienced: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL); passenger endorsement as applicable. Minimum five (5) years of commercial driving experience, including passenger transport. Strong customer service and communication skills. Working knowledge of vehicle safety inspections and defensive driving practices. Ability to navigate using maps, GPS, and written or verbal directions. Ability to meet DOT requirements, including physicals and required screenings. High school diploma or equivalent required.
