Accounting Manager

Dallas, TX -Onsite

Compensation : $125-160k + 30-40% bonus

One of Vaco's technology investment clients in the Dallas area has given us the  search to onboard an Accounting Manager as a newly-created role due to growth.  Looking for folks that have solid GL accounting experience and been directly involved in complex accounting environments that have included process improvement projects and cleaning up the Balance Sheet.

Role

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions related to a specific subset of accounts on the GL.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP or IFRS.

Fund accounting experience is preferred but not required.

Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain financial integrity.

Monitor and manage the month-end and year-end close processes.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.

Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business growth.

Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making and operational efficiency.
