Summary
Reporting to the EHS Manager, the EHS Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the company and its employees comply with local, state, and federal Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations, as well as company policies and site procedures. This role supports the broader EHS team by driving safety compliance, promoting a culture of safety, and collaborating with all levels of staff to mitigate risks.
Responsibilities
- Assist the EHS Department in managing and executing assigned projects and responsibilities.
- Support departmental teams to maintain compliance with EHS regulations and Chobani's internal safety standards.
- Review and conduct non-routine risk assessments to ensure safe work practices are followed.
- Ensure the Safety Training Tracking System is up-to-date, including training assignments and completion tracking.
- Plan and lead training sessions on regulatory compliance and company EHS standards, adapting to varying shifts as necessary.
- Perform regulatory / compliance inspections and audits for various EHS programs (LOTO, hazardous waste, fire protection, fall protection, first aid, PIT, SWPPP, SPCC, etc.).
- Collaborate with employees at all levels to address safety concerns and foster strong working relationships with leadership to implement EHS programs across departments.
- Monitor department-specific safety metrics and dashboards, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Support EHS investigations, assist with root cause analysis, and help implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of incidents (injuries, property damage and environmental incidents).
- Maintain accurate safety and environmental documentation for regulatory compliance purposes.
- Support the Occupational Health Specialist and maintain First Responder CPR / AED certification, providing support during site injuries and determining appropriate care.
- Foster a productive, collaborative work environment by maintaining professional relationships and ensuring consistent safety engagement.
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours to accommodate rotating shifts

Compensation Range : $60,500.00 - $113,500.00, plus bonus.
