A well-respected A&E firm based in Cincinnati is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing team. This leadership role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-impact projects while mentoring junior staff and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, project management experience, and a passion for delivering innovative electrical design solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead electrical engineering and design teams in preparing construction drawings and technical specifications
Design and oversee lighting and lighting control systems
Design low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems
Specify electrical materials, methods, and components
Develop and integrate control systems for mechanical and refrigeration systems
Collaborate with multidisciplinary architecture and engineering teams
Support project execution through all phases
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required
Professional Engineer license required
10+ years of experience designing electrical systems for large industrial and commercial buildings
A/E consulting experience strongly preferred
Proven ability to independently produce complete construction documents
Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills
Demonstrated commitment to high-quality engineering solutions
