Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-performance pressure and temperature sensing solutions in Grand Island, NY, is looking to hire an Electrical Engineer for their growing engineering team!
This is an on-site/full-time/direct-hire position
Salary based on experience: Up to $95k
This is a hands-on role where you'll own electrical design, testing, and product development efforts supporting mission-critical applications across aerospace, industrial, and energy markets. You'll play a key role in bringing new products from concept through production while collaborating cross-functionally with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate electrical systems and components for sensor-based products
- Create schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to support production
- Lead testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to ensure product performance and reliability
- Partner with manufacturing to support product builds, continuous improvement, and process optimization
- Ensure designs meet applicable industry standards, safety requirements, and quality systems
- Support new product development initiatives from concept through release
Required Skills - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience with electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing or product environment
- Strong understanding of electronics, sensors, or instrumentation systems
- Ability to read and develop schematics, drawings, and technical documentation
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and production teams
- Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
