Job Mission

We are looking for an Electronics / FPGA Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will ensure highly reliable electronics for ASML's EUV systems by developing automated test infrastructure, performing in-circuit verification of FPGA designs, and supporting hands-on testing in the lab. You will work with advanced technologies such as digital communication, photo-detectors, signal acquisition, and distributed high-precision timestamping, collaborating with cross-functional teams to qualify new FPGA features.

Role and responsibilities

• Execute experiments on test setups or prototype machines to validate requirements.
• Develop work breakdown structures and estimates for FPGA electronic product integration.
• Specify and document test requirements in collaboration with FPGA design teams.
• Design and maintain qualification tools for verification and integration purposes.
• Own and maintain firmware test benches.
• Analyze and resolve reliability issues; support smooth transition of new designs to manufacturing.
• Coordinate FPGA qualification within overall electronics qualification strategy.
• Influence electronic design for diagnostics, testability, manufacturability, and reliability.
• Support root cause analysis and problem-solving during prototype integration.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and experience

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

2-3 years of experience as an integrator and / or test engineer for electronic / electrical functions.

Broad technical knowledge of electronics with basic understanding of physics, mechanics, mechatronics, firmware, and software.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently :

$86,250-143,750

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
