Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Assembly & Rework Technician (SMT / PCB) to support electronics assembly PCB assembly and precision rework of high-quality electronic products. This role focuses on surface-mount soldering fine-pitch component rework and microscope-based assembly including QFN packages and 0201 passives.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience as an electronics assembler or SMT technician is comfortable working under a microscope and understands the importance of IPC workmanship standards ESD control and quality-first manufacturing .
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electronics assembly and PCB assembly using surface-mount technology (SMT)
- Hand solder and rework small SMT components including QFN 0201 and similar packages
- Perform precision component replacement and rework under a microscope
- Use soldering irons hot air rework pens and rework stations
- Troubleshoot and repair customer RMAs and returned electronic assemblies
- Assemble electronic products according to assembly drawings schematics BOMs and work instructions
- Follow IPC-A-610 workmanship standards and ESD-safe procedures
- Maintain a clean organized and ESD-compliant workstation
- Operate light manufacturing equipment such as a laser cutter and drill press when required
- Collaborate with engineering quality and production teams to meet production and quality goals
