Openwork is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector for a growing manufacturing operation in Denton, TX. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, precision, and catching quality issues before they become problems.


You'll work closely with production teams to ensure materials and finished products meet established quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.


Position at a Glance:

Location: Denton, TX 76207
Pay: $22.00 per hour | Weekly Pay
Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Overtime & Weekends: Available based on production needs.
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire


Your Day-to-Day:

  • Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
  • Identify defects and verify products meet required specifications.
  • Perform visual inspections, dimensional checks, and product testing.
  • Use calipers, gauges, measuring tapes, and other inspection tools.
  • Read and follow technical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Monitor production processes and identify potential quality concerns
  • Document inspection results and accurately report defects or discrepancies.
  • Maintain and calibrate measuring and inspection equipment.
  • Follow established quality procedures and applicable standards.
  • Partner with production teams to address quality concerns and support improvements.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • 2+ years of quality control, inspection, or manufacturing experience required.
  • Hands-on experience using calipers, gauges, measuring tapes, and other measuring tools.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and product specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies.
  • Understanding of manufacturing quality procedures and standards.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Reliable and consistent attendance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Availability to consistently work the 2nd-shift schedule.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends based on production needs.
