Hours: 6:30am-3:00pm M-F

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to perform routine product inspections and support the Quality Assurance team in monitoring compliance with established quality standards and product specifications. This individual will work closely with Manufacturing to identify defects, document inspection results, and support corrective actions to ensure consistent product quality.

The ideal candidate will have experience using measuring devices and inspection instruments, reading technical drawings and specifications, and performing sampling inspections in a manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform product sampling inspections in accordance with established procedures, specifications, AQL requirements, and sampling plans.
  • Conduct analytical and statistical compliance testing as directed.
  • Inspect products to identify, evaluate, and classify defects and non-conformances.
  • Communicate inspection findings to Manufacturing supervision and support appropriate corrective actions and product disposition.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inspection records and documentation.
  • Assist with preparation of quality reports and other documentation as required.
  • Communicate effectively with QA and Manufacturing personnel to help maintain continuity of operations.
  • Complete assigned inspection activities within established schedules and timeframes.
  • Support production operations and respond to critical business needs as required.
  • Support overtime requirements, including occasional weekends, based on business needs.
  • Follow established quality, safety, environmental, and operating procedures.
  • Report unsafe conditions, quality issues, procedural violations, and other concerns to appropriate management.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, quality, inspection, or production environment preferred.
  • Ability to use measuring devices and inspection instruments accurately.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, prints, product specifications, standards, and sampling plans.
  • Understanding of quality inspection and sampling practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience performing AQL-based sampling inspections.
  • Experience with analytical or statistical quality testing.
  • Previous experience identifying and classifying manufacturing defects.
  • Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Previous experience supporting corrective actions and product disposition.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Experience preparing quality reports and maintaining electronic inspection records.
  • Ability to accurately operate measuring devices and inspection equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, standards, and sampling plans.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector who can accurately perform product inspections, identify defects, maintain quality records, and communicate findings effectively with Manufacturing and Quality teams. This individual should be comfortable working independently while also contributing to a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
