Here's what you'd do.- Ensure the supplier is manufacturing components according to valid specifications and approved procedures from the project-related quality plan. - Follow all production steps, from inspection to raw material before production starts, to final approval of the components. - Clarify questions and provide advice to the suppliers regarding specifications. - This includes guidance for sub-suppliers' specifications. - Establish non-conformity reports and weekly meetings with the supplier; this is an ongoing process as corrective and preventive actions are needed, to ensure a continuous improvement of the quality management system.
