Conduct inspections using precision measurement tools and equipment, including rulers, calipers, gauges, and micrometers as applicable.
Collaborate closely with peers and cross-functional teams (e.g., Project Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing) to ensure manufacturing and inspection activities comply with established processes and quality requirements.
Communicate effectively with buyers and cross-functional stakeholders regarding supplier quality issues and delivery-related discrepancies.
Accurately complete receiving inspection transactions within the ERP system.
Document and record in-process and final inspection results in manufacturing routers, quality logs, and applicable quality system repositories.
Initiate and document Nonconforming Material Reports (NMRs) in accordance with established procedures and work instructions to ensure proper control of nonconforming material.
