As a Quality Technician, you will be the frontline for product integrity, utilizing advanced equipment to verify performance standards and material specifications. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of executing complex physical testing while maintaining seamless communication across the production team to ensure every shipment meets our rigorous standards.

Responsibilities Include

  • Advanced Material Testing: Execute physical and mechanical evaluations, focusing on characteristics, weave distortion, and structural integrity (tensile, compressive, and interlaminar shear).
  • Equipment Mastery: Handle the complete setup, calibration, and operation of manufacturing and machining equipment.
  • Data Integrity & Reporting: Manage the lifecycle of quality documentation, from updating ERP system records to finalizing customer certification documents.
  • Process Maintenance: Keep all testing areas and machinery in peak condition through routine maintenance and strict organizational standards.
  • Analytical Problem Solving: Lead investigations into quality discrepancies, performing root cause analysis to close out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Knowledge Sharing: Serve as a technical resource by training colleagues and sharing newly acquired skills to elevate the whole team.
  • Precision Measurement: Utilize chemicals and high-precision measurement tools to validate product specifications.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Educational Background: High school diploma (or equivalent) required; vocational training, formal apprenticeships, or machining backgrounds are highly valued.
    • Industry Experience: Ideally 3+ years in a quality or analytical role, or an equivalent degree in a related technical field.
    • Fluency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for data entry and reporting.
    • Experience in a machine shop environment is considered a significant asset.
    • Strong aptitude for using mechanical testing hardware and software.
    • Agility: Proven ability to switch priorities quickly and remain composed in a high-pressure, fast-paced manufacturing setting.

    • Organization: Elite attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively without sacrificing accuracy.
    • A self-directed worker who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes initiative on independent projects.
