Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Evansville, IN

As a key provider in obstetric care, you will ensure the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns, delivering essential services in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Valid and unrestricted Indiana medical license or ability to obtain one
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist duties or related fields
• Strong clinical and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
• Ability to adapt quickly and provide quality patient care

Nice to Have Skills:

• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems (EMR)
• Bilingual abilities
• Experience in high-volume obstetric units
• Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• At least 2 years of hospital-based obstetrics experience
• Active Indiana medical license or equivalent licensing in process

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on or around 12/31/2025
• Must possess or be eligible for physician liability insurance coverage
• Commitment to adhering to hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards
• Travel and licensure reimbursement as applicable
