Job description

Project Coordinator

LifeFormations specializes in the design and fabrication of animatronic figures, sculpted elements, exhibits and interactive experiences. Our work can be found in leading theme parks, museums, science centers, and branded spaces all over the world.

Position Overview:

  • The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Design Director and VP of Engineering in overseeing, managing, and documenting all aspects of design projects.
  • This role is to ensure the assigned projects exceed all industry standards, product quality with detailed organization, in addition to helping find workflow efficiencies and improve communication.

Experience:

  • 2-5 years of project coordination in a production company.

Requirements:

  • Microsoft Office.
  • Adobe Acrobat.
  • A detail-oriented multitasker. Must have great communication skills and the ability to easily adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Will work directly with Senior Management as well as clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible with the project's schedule and budget.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress and prepare & submit all documents for client review, comment, and approval.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
  • Measure project performance and report to management as needed.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all project stakeholders.
  • Meetings with clients to take detailed notes and clarify specific requirements of each project.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other departments and staff members.
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document the project's progress.
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite is a plus.
