Ccsg Program Manager
The Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG) Program at MD Anderson provides critical infrastructure funding to support cancer research across the institution. This program ensures MD Anderson maintains its designation as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute (NCI), which is essential for advancing innovative cancer research and improving patient outcomes.
The CCSG Program Manager is responsible for managing administrative and grants-related activities for the CCSG, including daily operations, annual reporting, and competitive renewal processes. This role ensures compliance with NCI guidelines, supports strategic planning, and facilitates efficient data management and reporting.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in a related field and has experience in research administration, including pre- and post-award processes and knowledge of grant cycles. Proficiency in managing large datasets and advanced Excel skills are essential. Strong organizational, communication, and project management abilities are highly valued, along with experience in coordinating complex, multi-departmental projects.
The typical work schedule is Monday Friday, standard business hours, with occasional flexibility required for deadlines and meetings.
Hourly breakdown of salary range : Minimum $37.98 Midpoint $47.59 Maximum $57.21
