Overview:
This is with a chemical manufacturing company located in Northern IL, about 2 hours from the Chicago area. This role will supervise 4 direct reports (3 project engineers, 1 draftsman) and will own the capital and improvement projects function. The role reports to the Operations Director and will be a key member of his site leadership team. Projects range from $500K - $10MM. The company is privately-owned and has been operating for over 100 years and the products they make benefit from a very stable and robust market throughout the United States.
About the location: this area is home to about 20,000 people and features good schools and a reasonable cost-of-living. This area is about 90 minutes from Midway airport in Chicago.
