Responsibilities
- Operate machines efficiently within different departments.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct visual quality inspections on glass products.
- Participate in cross-training to support various aspects of glass manufacturing.
Essential Skills- General production and assembly line experience.
- Ability to operate machines and perform inspections.
- Experience in packaging and manufacturing.
- Proficiency with hand tools and tape measure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.

Work Environment
Work in an automotive glass manufacturing facility with a union environment (UAW). Be prepared for flexible work schedules, as shifts may change due to union requirements. Departments include Fabrication with 8-hour shifts, Float with 12-hour shifts, EPBL (Windshields), HST (side windows), and TL3 (sunroofs). Currently hiring for 1st shift (6 AM - 2:30 PM) with training provided. Flexibility to work on 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) or 3rd shift (10 PM - 6:30 AM) is needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.14 - $19.14/hr.
