Job Description
Position Title : Shipping Associate, 3rd Shift
Pay Rate : Starting rate is $22.63 / hr. plus shift differential & bonuses. Shift differential for 3rd shift is $.25 / hour.
Sign-on and Retention Bonus : $500 after 30 days, $500 after 6 months, $500 after 1 year and an additional bonus at 2 years
Category / Shift : Hourly Full-Time, 3rd Shift (11pm - 7am with additional overtime as assigned)
The Job You Will Perform :
Operate lift trucks in a safe and effective manner
Ensure correct product is sent through appropriate production line
Ensure correct strapping patterns for product, and that loads are strapped with proper dunnage according to instructions and customer-specific requests
Monitor loads and notify supervisor regarding any product issues
Monitor take-off line following strapping process, and load material onto designated trucks, requiring accurate record of load tallies
Transporting product to the appropriate areas of the warehouse as needed
Load warehoused product from the warehouse to the loading dock, as well as receive product from incoming trucks, sign for the receipt of it, and transport to designated department
Turn in proper paperwork to the shipping office
Rotate as needed between strapper position, take-off line lift truck and floor driver lift truck operation procedures
Sweep trailers and floor areas
Complete a daily safety check list, change propane tanks, and check the fluids and air filters on their lift truck

The Qualifications We Are Looking For :
High School diploma or GED preferred
Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience preferred
Candidates must successfully complete a health assessment, drug screening and background / employment verification
