Manufacturing Engineer
We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and driving operational excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who likes working cross-functionally, leading improvement initiatives, and supporting products from concept through production. You'll collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and leadership to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, support new product launches, and help deliver high-quality products to customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and optimize manufacturing processes
- Partner with production teams to increase efficiency, quality, and throughput
- Support quoting and cost estimation by reviewing drawings and manufacturing requirements
- Assist with prototype builds and new product introductions
- Design and improve tooling, fixtures, and production methods
- Identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvements
- Perform process analysis, time studies, and root cause investigations
- Drive initiatives to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and increase productivity
- Collaborate with quality and operations on continuous improvement projects
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement effective solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- CAD experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred
