Job Title: Human Resources GeneralistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role involves managing various HR functions including onboarding, maintaining employee records, handling employee relations, and overseeing payroll processes. The successful candidate will also serve as a primary resource for conflict resolution and provide direction on workplace expectations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct onboarding and orientation processes, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
- Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and HR files.
- Provide support in employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Oversee payroll processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate employee compensation and benefits packages.
- Collaborate with recruiting agencies to facilitate new hires.
- Assist with job description development and updates.
- Provide essential office support, including invoicing and purchasing.
Essential Skills- 3-5 years of experience in human resources.
- Proficiency in onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, recruiting, and timekeeping.
- Strong knowledge of current HR laws.
- Experience in file management and employee benefits.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- 3-5 years of experience as an HR Manager.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with professionalism.
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with others.
- Capability to manage day-to-day priorities effectively.
Work EnvironmentThis position is within a family-owned anodizing company, characterized by a blue-collar work environment with 68 employees, the majority in production. The role operates on standard day shift hours from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with some flexibility. The company is relocating to Vancouver, WA, in September.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wood Village, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.
