Job Summary

As an Entry-Level Cook, you'll be pivotal in setting up and preparing your workstation with guidance from senior chefs. You'll maintain cleanliness, store food properly, and assist in delivering high-quality food and beverage items. This position is perfect for those eager to learn and grow while providing exceptional culinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently set up and organize your workstation for daily prep tasks.
  • Prepare and store food items with adherence to our quality standards.
  • Utilize proper cooking techniques for daily specials and various menu items.
  • Assist in receiving and properly storing kitchen supplies.
  • Manage items used by others, ensuring availability and freshness.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including tools and equipment.
  • Communicate with chefs regarding food quality and special requests.
  • Engage with members and guests professionally, fulfilling their requests.
  • Support your team in maintaining a positive work atmosphere.
  • Address and resolve any member or guest complaints promptly, notifying management as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Additional Duties

  • Assist peers as needed, taking on varied tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere to all company and department policies and procedures.
  • Uphold professionalism and excellence in every interaction.
  • Follow safety practices and encourage teamwork in compliance with safety guidelines.
  • Take the initiative for personal and professional growth, maintaining necessary certifications.

    • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a kitchen setting.
  • Valid Food Handler Certifications as per local regulations.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail in following instructions.

    • Physical Requirements

  • Capable of standing and performing physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments.
  • Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 100 lbs occasionally.
  • Effective communication skills, including visual acuity and auditory abilities.
