Are you a skilled CNC Programmer Machinist looking for long-term stability and the opportunity to truly influence your department? This exciting opportunity is located in Western Wayne County, Michigan with a well-established, multi-generational manufacturing organization and has not had a layoff in over a decade. With low turnover, a laid-back environment, advanced HAAS equipment, and the freedom to help shape processes and technology, this is a rare chance to grow your career in a place where your experience and ideas are genuinely valued. Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Programmer Machinist position include:
- 5+ years of experience as a machinist, preferably in aerospace or tube fabrication.
- Ability to operate at least 2 machines, including at least one lathe and/or mill.
- Proficiency operating HAAS CNC lathes (3–4 axis).
- Proficiency operating HAAS CNC mills (up to 5-axis).
- Experience using Autodesk Fusion for CNC programming.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience machining stainless steel, Inconel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
- Ability to inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools and maintain quality standards.
