Job Description
Position: Air Export Specialist
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, onsite at LAX LTL location
Address: 2501 ROSECRANS AVE., LOS ANGELES, CA. 90059
Compensation: $30-35 per hour, bi-weekly pay, benefits package
Job Description: The air export agent is responsible for preparing and arranging shipments for exportation via airfreight in compliance with export regulation.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
- Coordinate all aspects of air exportation including master airwaybill creation, house airwaybill creation, and proper air carrier selection.
- Closely track and trace all international export cargo, update milestones in CargoWise. Communicate daily with airlines, vendors, truckers, customers, sales representatives, and overseas offices.
- Follow customer SOPs. Respond to internal and external emails/requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance is met at all times for internal and external rules & regulations.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in international export operation
- Previous knowledge of cargo operations preferred
