Job Summary
Join our team in Durham, NC, a vibrant city known for its rich history, diverse culture, and thriving tech industry. We are seeking a dedicated professional to troubleshoot, debug, and analyze customer devices during the nd shift. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to resolve complex hardware issues.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, debug, and determine root cause at multiple system levels for customer devices. Analyze circuits and topologies to identify marginal failure root causes.
- Repair failing devices and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor ongoing reliability tests (ORT) and reliability demonstration tests (RDT), reporting any issues.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to investigate hardware issues down to the component level.
- Document procedures and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist with the fabrication and development of new equipment, fixtures, and test programs.
- Collaborate with internal engineering disciplines to resolve complex hardware issues.
- Assist Test Engineers with test station setup and other processes, including modeling, pre-pilot, and pilot runs.
- Develop and maintain technical knowledge in specialized areas, staying updated on current trends and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to read test logs.
- Experience with computer hardware such as CPUs, NICs, and memory.
- Ability to adapt to stressful situations and complete projects under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in electronic assembly, including schematics, PCB point-to-point wiring, and cable testing.
Schedule
Monday - Thursday (: PM - : AM) - -hour shifts
