Failure Analysis Technician nd Shift

Location : Durham, NC

Schedule : Monday - Thursday ( : PM - : AM) - Hour Shifts

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Troubleshoots, debugs, and determines root cause at multiple system levels for customer devices and analyzes circuits and topologies to identify marginal failure root causes.
• Repairs for failing devices.
• Troubleshoot and repair failures; diagnose the root cause and recommend corrective action.
• Monitor ORT (on-going reliability tests) / RDT (reliability demonstration tests) and report issues.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Work directly with design and manufacturing teams to investigate hardware issues down to the component level.
• Document procedure, follow SOPs.
• Assists with the fabrication and development of new equipment, fixtures, and test programs.
• Internal Collaboration : Collaborate with multiple internal engineering disciplines (HW, SW, Diags, Quality, Product, Mechanical, Materials, Reliability) to resolve complex hardware issues.
• Assist Test Engineers with test station setup and other processes including modeling, pre-pilot, and pilot runs.
• Proactively develops and maintains technical knowledge in specialized area(s), remaining up to date on current trends and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
