Job Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Jackson MS 39209
Work Schedule: 4 days per week | Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM | Opportunity for overtime on the 5th day
Pay Rate: USD 30 - 31/hr
Contract: 8 months
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of technical or field service experience
• Customer service experience
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office and smart devices
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card
• Ability to obtain a CDL Class A or B with applicable endorsements
• Ability to operate a company vehicle and meet driving requirements
• Ability to pass a credit check
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• General small engine maintenance experience preferred
Responsibilities:
• Perform field service activities safely and efficiently at customer sites
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues
• Identify and resolve safety issues involving company and customer equipment
• Interact directly with customers at one or more job sites
• Ensure power equipment is ready for use and track equipment condition
• Maintain inventory and assist with equipment upkeep
• Exercise and turn water valves and fire hydrants using hand and power tools
• Perform general small engine maintenance
• Maintain company property and follow all safety procedures
• Travel to other locations, meetings, and seminars as needed
