Speech Language Pathologist - Skilled Nursing
Requirements:
- Current unencumbered OR Speech Language Pathologist license
Description: Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Employment Type: Permanent Work Setting: Health and Rehabilitation Center Pay Rate: Up to $65/hour Shift Length and Days: 8-5 Mon-Fri, can be flexible if needed
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to clients, including one-on-one and group sessions as appropriate.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, physicians, and families, to support client progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and outcomes.
- Educate clients, families, and caregivers on strategies to enhance communication and swallowing skills.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications: - Language Pathologist License from the Board of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology in Oregon
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with facility staff to promote highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial wellbeing.
