Freight Handler

Join our team as a Freight Handler, where you will play a crucial role in managing the movement of goods within our expansive warehouse. This role requires efficiency in loading and unloading freight, ensuring timely and accurate processing of shipments.

Responsibilities :

  • Hand load and unload freight from inbound and outbound containers.
  • Pick orders from lower-level racking using a push cart.
  • Verify contents of packages prior to shipping.
  • Package contents into boxes.
  • Ship products in a timely manner.
  • Maintain high productivity to meet production standards.

Essential Skills :

  • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. repeatedly, with occasional lifting of 120 lbs. between two people.
  • Attention to detail, particularly in reading numbers.
  • Willingness to unload trucks for the entirety of the shift.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications :

  • Experience with load, unload, paperwork, palletizing, picking, shipping and receiving, material handling, packing, RF scanning, and inventory management.

    Work Environment

    Work in a 425,000 square foot warehouse with products stacked on racks and dock doors around the perimeter. Forklifts are a constant presence, moving throughout the facility and in and out of containers. The work schedule offers shifts from Monday to Friday, 7am-3 : 30pm or 3pm-11 : 30pm.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sumner, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following :
