Independence Rehab is hiring a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at Everett Transitional Care Services and Bethany at Pacific , two programs located in the same building in Everett, WA.

Everett Transitional Care Services is the Transitional Care Unit (TCU), while Bethany at Pacific serves as the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) - giving you the opportunity to work across a full continuum of post-acute care without bouncing between multiple locations.

Whether you're a new grad looking for strong mentorship or an experienced COTA looking for autonomy and a sustainable caseload , this is a great place to grow and stay long-term.

Training + Onboarding

We don't believe in the "sink or swim" approach.

New clinicians receive :

  • Strong integration and onboarding
  • 1 : 1 training for documentation and treatment sessions
  • Customized clinical training based on your experience
  • Ongoing mentorship and competency support when needed

What You'll Do

As the COTA, you'll treat a geriatric population across SNF and Transitional Care, including :

  • ADL training and adaptive strategies
  • Transfer training (all levels)
  • Fall prevention and safety training
  • Treatment of clinically complex patients
  • Collaboration with the OT, nursing, PT, ST, and facility staff
  • Documentation and communication to support care planning

    • Requirements

  • Current Washington COTA license in good standing
  • Degree from an accredited OTA program
