The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team :

RTX Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our Business Systems Application Support team. This role involves the development, maintenance, and support of business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with a particular emphasis on database experience as a must-have requirement. Candidates must possess excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. Additionally, experience with Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), is essential for success in this role.

What you will do

Develop, maintain, and support business systems applications, ensuring they meet the needs of internal stakeholders.

Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Maintain and improve application performance, scalability, and security.

Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.

Participate in Agile SAFe ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement within the Agile framework.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

5+ years of experience in fullstack development, with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.

Front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, C# and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). as well as Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET. Experience with database technologies (e.g.,Oracle, SQL, NoSQL).

Application architectures and related technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), is essential.

Qualifications We Prefer

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with cloud-based platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI / CD, Docker, Kubernetes).

Understanding of cybersecurity principles as they relate to application development and support.

Previous experience in the aerospace or defense industry.

Certification in SAFe or other Agile frameworks is a plus.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
