Plus, a few generous raffles thrown in for good measure. Role Description Our Golf Cart Attendants create a sense of welcome and arrival for all guests and members participating in golf play. They will also be a point of contact while utilizing the golf course and in matters regarding golf play. Golf Cart Attendants are fully versed in all aspects of the golf department and amenities provided by the resort. Golf Cart Attendants are responsible for maintaining the safety of guests and owners and the integrity of the resort and its policies. Our car staff insures outside components of the golf operations are facilitated which specifically relates to the golf cart fleet management and driving range component along with general facility cleanliness and upkeep. To be successful in this position, you must have a passion for the game of golf and truly enjoy engaging with our members and guests with a focus on the game. Our cart staff provides each golfer with a personalized experience that will have each guest never forget their round of golf at Brasada Canyons. You must enjoy working outside in the beautiful weather and be able to maintain an organized operation to ensure that each guest gets the attention that they require. |
General Responsibilities |
· Has a good understanding of the rules and regulations of the game of golf and proper course etiquette. · Meets and greets all guests and members in a warm, friendly and professional manner. · Responsible for daily operations of range ball recovery utilizing both mechanical and hand machinery equipment. · Responsible for collection and organization of all range baskets and the washing of the range balls. · Responsible for escorting players to Men's and Women's Locker Rooms. (if applicable)
· Maintain an organized, sanitary, and safe working area. · Assisting with requests, and questions. · Ability to fully explain all golf products, services and other information about the resort to all guests and owners. · Maintain knowledge of current resort events, activities and hours of operation as well as dining options currently available. · Assist and bring resolution to guest issues and complaints, with empathy and a focus on satisfaction. Use supervisor support when necessary. · Ensure carts are properly stored and placed on chargers. · Assist golf shop in tournament setup of golf carts and range operations. · Ability to learn new skills and adapt to change. · Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned. |
Skills/Traits · Must have good understanding of golf rules and regulations. · Previous guest service experience preferred. · Ability to communicate with customers and fellow associates in an effective and professional manner. · Excellent listening and comprehension skills required. · Standing for long periods of time · Frequently lifts/carries up to 15 lbs · Occasionally lifts/carries up to 50 lbs
