Candidates must be willing to be onsite in Montgomery, AL 5 days a week. The client is open for candidates who need to relocate but must be onsite day 1.

Position: PowerApps/Reports Developer
Rate: $55
Core Responsibilities:
Develop SSRS reports
Perform Power BI reporting
Assist with Power Apps applications
This position is responsible for end-to-end report development including interaction with end users to gather requirements, understanding report objectives, designing, and developing reports using the available BI tools at hand and delivering reports to end users. The Database Report Writer will support the Information Systems department by creating reports, forms, queries, other MS-SQL objects, along with analyzing and compiling data from the database and/or other sources for various reports as needed.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a SQL Report Server Developer using SSRS reporting tools
Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming
Expert knowledge designing and deploying SSRS Reports in Visual Studio
Design, develop, test and implement reports as necessary to fulfill business requirements
Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables in accordance with due dates and project requirements
Review and translate business requirements / user stories into report requirements
Ability to construct reusable reports based on common reporting requests using available tools
Provide timely scheduled management reporting
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff and outside vendors
Serve as a subject matter expert across the organization and assist users with reporting and analysis activities and tools, including ad hoc reporting
Support user testing, documentation, and roll-out of reports and end-user reporting tools
Create and modify reports and report templates using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Advanced understanding of relational databases, (MS SQL, SSRS) and advanced querying techniques o Research required data and data relationships o Extract, filter, and aggregate data through logical queries and programming
Develop MS-SQL objects (tables, stored procedures, functions, views, etc.)
Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
