Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Experience :4-8 years
Salary: 4.2 Lpa – 6 Lpa (Depends on interview)
Working Days & Timings: 6 days (9am-6:30pm)
Job Responsibilities
Sales Achievement & Target Management
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Tiscon TMT retail division in the assigned area.
- Drive secondary sales through retailers, influencers, and end-user demand generation.
- Monitor and improve sales conversions at dealer counters.
Channel Development & Dealer Management
- Appoint and manage distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
- Strengthen existing dealer relationships by providing regular support and resolving concerns.
- Implement dealer schemes, promotions, and incentive programs effectively.
Retail Expansion & Market Penetration
- Expand retail footprint in untapped markets through systematic dealer/retailer mapping.
- Identify and onboard new retailers to increase reach and availability.
- Ensure consistent product visibility and brand presence across the market.
Influencer & Customer Engagement
- Build strong relationships with contractors, masons, engineers, and architects to drive product preference.
- Conduct influencer meets, product demonstrations, and promotional campaigns.
- Generate demand pull through end-user awareness activities.
Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis
- Track competitor pricing, schemes, and market activities.
- Share timely market intelligence with management for strategy formulation.
- Recommend corrective actions for sales challenges in the market.
Collections & Credit Control
- Monitor distributor/retailer credit limits and ensure timely collections.
- Maintain channel partner financial discipline in line with company policies.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and update management on performance.
- Maintain accurate data on sales pipeline, dealer performance, and market coverage.
Team & Cross-functional Coordination
- Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and warehouse teams for timely delivery of material.
- Work closely with marketing teams for execution of campaigns and retail branding.
- Support and guide field sales executives (if applicable).
Desired Academic Qualifications
Graduate in Business/Commerce/Engineering; MBA (Sales/Marketing) preferred.
Desired Work Experience
- 3–5 years of channel sales experience in building materials/steel/cement (preferably
- TMT/Rebar industry).
