Inventory Management Support. Position Type: Full Time Contract, Contract to hire Duration: 12 months Location: Anaheim CA 92805 As an
Inventory Management Support, you will:
- The Support Material Handler is responsible for shipping, packing, and receiving products, as well as loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site under minimal supervision.
- This role may involve rerouting urgent shipments or arranging special deliveries, preparing and maintaining shipping records, and tracking shipments.
- The position also includes receiving incoming materials, unpacking, and verifying goods against purchase orders or invoices.
Key Responsibilities: - Package shipments internally per procedures or send to an outside packing house.
- Interface with internal departments and external shipping services or freight companies to ensure timely shipments to customers and suppliers.
- Generate shipping documents and labels for hardware/materials, including finished products, detail parts, and other materials from the facility.
- Perform visual inspection of incoming materials for physical damage.
- Verify accuracy of incoming paperwork and receive materials into the ERP system.
- Report discrepancies and place items on hold as needed.
- Read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved.
- Open containers and prepare materials for processing.
- Load and unload materials onto/from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves manually.
- Load materials into vehicles and secure with strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent damage during transit.
- Transport materials from storage or work sites to designated areas such as receiving inspection.
- Secure attachments to materials and convey loads or signal crane/hoist operators for movement.
- Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on containers.
- Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band them together.
- Heavy objects manually or with power hoists; maintain a clean work area.
- Operate industrial trucks or electric hoists to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Sit-down and stand-up forklift operation.
- Powered pallet handling.
- Shipping and receiving experience.
Ideal candidate will have - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); A minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years more years of related experience and/or training.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS: Pay Range*: $24-$26 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
