Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking First-Line Manufacturing Managers (Level K) to support the 777 Fuselage Assembly Center in Everett, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines

• Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies

• Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

• Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• This manager position requires you to have a minimum of one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership"

• 1+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment

• 3+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace

• Must be willing and able to work any shift

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment

• 1+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data

• 1+ years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)

• Must be adaptable and able to execute with urgency

• Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles

Shift:

We are hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift. Shift will be determined at time of offer. There may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.
