Role Overview: Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts. Responsible for multiple work efforts of any size, from minimum complexity system/customer impacts to greater complexity system/customer impacts. Adheres to project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budgeted hours, adheres to high quality standards, and meets ISSM expectations.
Monitors project plans, assignments and work efforts on a daily basis. Ensures resource needs are assigned appropriately and escalates functional, quality, timeline issues. Tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans to meet the needs of work effort. Responsible for leading the project from inception to final business acceptance and implementation. Mentors other project leads and participates in the training and development of staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops and monitors project plans, risk management plans, and project documentation from scope to post implementation; ensures deliverables are complete, on budget, within scope, and aligned with standards
  • Identifies impacts to scope, budget, risk, and resources; monitors resource requirements and ensures proper allocation to meet objectives
  • Develops, executes, and maintains project communications including meetings, correspondence, and status reporting
  • Identifies and manages project issues throughout lifecycle; communicates scope and impact changes to senior management
  • Ensures all work efforts meet audit documentation standards aligned with ISSM methodology
  • Coaches, develops, and mentors team members; may provide oversight across multiple work efforts and perform peer reviews

Team & Work Context: You will join a collaborative PMO team that supports a wide range of strategic and operational projects across the organization. The team is responsible for portfolio health, demand intake, governance, and overall program delivery. Projects typically focus on technology modernization, process improvement, and cross-departmental initiatives that drive measurable impact. The culture is supportive, transparent, and grounded in accountability, continuous improvement, and strong partnership with business stakeholders. This role also offers significant leadership exposure and the opportunity to help shape delivery approaches across the organization.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Manage and update program schedules in Microsoft Project (dependencies, resources, milestones, critical path)
  • Facilitate program ceremonies and stakeholder syncs via Microsoft Teams
  • Maintain documentation, status reports, and governance artifacts in SharePoint
  • Update and validate Power BI dashboards (KPIs, budgets, risks, timelines)
  • Coordinate workflows in Power Automate and monitor demand/change requests
  • Create process diagrams and workflows using Visio when needed
Not Looking For
  • Pure developers or engineers seeking technical roles
  • Candidates with only Waterfall experience (no Agile/Hybrid exposure)
  • Scrum Masters without program governance experience
  • Candidates lacking enterprise, multi-workstream experience
  • Tool-focused admins without strategic or communication strength
