e-commerce and high volume transaction are good

  • BS in CS, Mathematics or equivalent work experience
  • Strong Java skills including working knowledge of J2EE framework : EJB, Servlet, JMS, JDBC, JMX
  • Experience HTML, JSP
  • Solid understanding of algorithms, parallel / distributed systems, advanced data structures, computer networking and operating systems.
  • Strong Weblogic experience including an understanding of caching on Weblogic
  • Knowledge of the Apache web server, API and internals, is a plus.
  • Object oriented design experience, Design Patterns, RUP / UML
  • Experience working in large scale Ecommerce System
  • Experience working with Multi-Threaded Applications
  • Experience with SQL coding and strong understanding of database transactions
  • Experience with Oracle
  • Significant development experience in a Unix / Linux environment.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python, etc) and / or SOAP desired.
  • Knowledge of session management, object-relational mapping, XML , web services
  • Some System Administration experience is a plus
  • Experience in setting up a new development / production environment is a plus

Successful candidate will be a self-starter with experience in large scale web environment.
