Job Title : Senior Java Backend Engineer

Location : Chicago IL

Job Description :

We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer with strong experience in Java 17 (migration to Java 21) Spring Boot microservices and Kafka. The role involves building scalable APIs and event-driven systems on AWS using services such as Lambda S3 ECS and EKS.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred) and be comfortable deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. This is a fast-paced environment requiring a self-starter who can learn quickly and work with minimal supervision.
