Establish and enforce best practices in code quality, testing, performance, and security through design and code reviews. Partner closely with product managers, product owners, architects, and other engineering teams to refine requirements and deliver customer-focused solutions. Communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineering and non-engineering stakeholders at all levels. Balance competing priorities across product, technology, and organizational goals. Collaborate across distributed teams, time zones, and disciplines to ensure alignment and delivery success. Drive the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and production-ready code with minimal disruption. Accurately estimate effort, manage dependencies, and consistently meet commitments. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues quickly, including leading response during critical incidents. Ensure seamless integration with backend systems through RESTful APIs and modern data integration patterns. Support engineering managers in coaching, performance feedback, and career development of team members. Promote a culture of ownership, urgency, and continuous improvement. Reduce friction by proactively addressing inefficiencies, unplanned work, and team distractions. Actively contribute to the broader engineering community and strengthen the organization’s technical reputation.
