Job Description

  • We are looking for a strong Java Developer with 5+ years of hands-on software development experience (no support/background roles) to join a fast-paced engineering team. The candidate must be comfortable working onsite 4 days per week in Richardson, TX and be able to contribute independently to backend microservices development.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot
  • Build scalable and high-performance backend services using Java 8
  • Develop and integrate Kafka-based messaging solutions
  • Work with MongoDB for data storage and retrieval
  • Leverage AWS services (S3 primarily) in application development
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of core Java software development experience
  • Strong expertise in Spring Framework / Spring Boot
  • Kafka experience is mandatory
  • Experience developing microservices architecture
  • Working knowledge of MongoDB
  • Exposure to AWS services (S3)
  • Ability to work independently and solve complex problems
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
