Position Overview :

Gymreapers is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining both the front-end and back-end of our web applications, with a focus on Shopify and other web-based platforms to ensure seamless integration, functionality, and performance. You will work closely with other developers, designers, and product managers to build innovative solutions that improve our customer experience, optimize operations, and scale our business.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, robust, and efficient full-stack applications using modern web technologies.
• Lead architectural discussions and provide technical guidance to ensure the adoption of best practices and alignment with the overall technology roadmap
• Design, develop, and optimize responsive landing pages, ensuring a seamless user experience across various devices and browsers.
• Optimize landing pages and applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance by refining code, reducing load times, and implementing best practices to enhance user experience and overall page efficiency.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to implement creative and high-converting page layouts, while maintaining consistent brand identity and performance standards.
• Work with both front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Vue.js) and back-end (Node.js, Express, Python, Django, etc.) technologies to create end-to-end solutions.
• Maintain and improve the performance, security, and scalability of web applications.
• Build and manage APIs to integrate with internal and third-party services.
• Work with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high code quality and performance standards.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI / UX designs and ensure responsive design across various devices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, advancements in software, data engineering, and conversational AI.
• Collaborate in an agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Proven experience with Shopify and other similar e-commerce platforms, including developing, customizing, and maintaining online stores to optimize user experience, functionality, and performance.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern JS frameworks like React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Express.js, Python (Django, Flask), or similar.
• Experience working with databases (SQL / NoSQL), including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and integrating with third-party APIs (payment gateways, shipping providers).
• Familiarity with mobile app development (React Native, Flutter, etc.).
• Knowledge of Agile / Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with performance optimization and security best practices.
• Interest or background in fitness and wellness is a plus.
