Software Engineer-Developer 4
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (Onsite)

Role Overview
This position involves the design, development, testing, and maintenance of safety-critical embedded software throughout the full product lifecycle. The role ensures compliance with industry, customer, safety, and regulatory requirements. Key activities include translating system requirements into software architectures, implementing software components, and performing verification and validation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain safety-critical embedded software.
- Translate customer and system requirements into testable software architectures and designs.
- Implement and optimize software components and algorithms for system integration.
- Create and maintain documentation, including requirements traceability, design descriptions, and test plans.
- Lead verification and validation activities such as unit, integration, and system testing.
- Produce certification evidence and safety artifacts.
- Debug and resolve software defects and field issues.
- Perform software project management activities including schedule tracking and risk management.
Required Qualifications
- Experience developing Mission Systems Software Architecture.
- Fluency in both UML and SysML.
- Proficiency in MBSE practice and Model-Driven Software Engineering.
- Ability to translate customer needs into non-functional requirements and quality attributes.
- Knowledge of software architecture patterns.
- Experience with reverse engineering and refactoring software architecture of legacy code.
- Familiarity with Product Line development and Product Line Software Architecture.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, first-shift position located onsite in Oklahoma City, OK. The role follows a 9x80 work schedule.
