What You'll Do
Act as a subject-matter expert for employer-sponsored defined contribution plans (401(k), profit sharing, etc.)
Advise clients and advisors on plan design considerations, compliance requirements, and operational best practices
Analyze and explain quarterly retirement plan reports to trustees and key stakeholders
Support large-plan audits by preparing documentation and reviewing audit materials
Research and resolve advanced ERISA, IRS, and Department of Labor compliance issues
Review work completed by less experienced analysts and provide coaching and quality oversight
Balance multiple client deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and service
What We're Looking For
CPA designation (required)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field
5+ years of experience with defined contribution plans
, ideally within a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) environment
Strong working knowledge of ERISA and retirement plan regulations
Experience supporting plan audits and trustee reporting
Proficiency with retirement plan administration software (Relius preferred)
Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients and advisors
Preferred (Not Required)
ASPPA credentials such as
QKA or QPA
Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior staff
Background in client-facing or consultative roles
