Purpose: The Sourcing Specialist III leads mid- to high-complexity sourcing events, drives commercial and financial analysis, and negotiates contracts in alignment with business and compliance requirements. The role conducts advanced market intelligence, supports the execution of sourcing strategies, and collaborates closely with stakeholders and Category Managers. The Specialist III also contributes to process improvements and mentors junior team members to enhance overall sourcing capability.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop RFx plans and manage end-to-end sourcing events.
  • Conduct detailed supplier assessments, scenario modeling, and total cost analysis.
  • Prepare and present award recommendations.
  • Lead contract negotiations for medium- and high-complexity sourcing initiatives.
  • Partner with Legal on drafting and revision of commercial terms.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
  • Perform advanced market intelligence, benchmarking, and cost-base analysis.
  • Build financial models to support sourcing recommendations.
  • Provide insights to Category Managers to support strategy execution.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define sourcing requirements and approaches.
  • Manage tactical supplier interactions during sourcing events.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to sourcing tools, templates, and processes.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field. Proven experience leading complex sourcing events and negotiations. Advanced Excel and financial modeling capability. Strong analytical capability and familiarity with procurement platforms. Strong negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills. Ability to influence, lead tasks, and manage competing priorities.
